Christmas and New Year Opening Times

We would like to thank all of our clients for their custom throughout 2019. We wish you all a Merry Christmas & a happy and healthy New Year, we look forward to working with you in 2020.

Our Newcastle Clinic will close at 12.30pm on Tuesday 24th of December, before briefly reopening for one day on Monday the 30th of December between the hours of 9am-5pm, following this we fully reopen on Thursday 2nd of January at 9am.

Our Edinburgh Clinic will be closed over the Christmas period and will fully reopen on Friday the 3rd of January.

November OGUK / Renewable Medical Offer

We are delighted to offer this November a 10% reduction in our normal rate for any OGUK / Renewable medical booked now for November 2019, or booked before the end of November.

The medical includes; health questionnaire, blood pressure and pulse reading, vision test, including colour vision, hearing test – audiometric, height and weight check in order to calculate your BMI, urine sample, spirometry and medical examination.

Employees will need to pass this examination in order to work offshore. The certificate is issued at the end of the appointment and is valid for two years.

These can be conducted at our clinics in Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Edinburgh OH3 centre now open!

We are excited to announce the opening of our first OH3 Ltd clinic in Edinburgh in April 2019. We will be pleased to offer services like OGUK, HAVS assessments and management referrals from any employers within Edinburgh or within travelling distance. Glasgow is less than an hour train journey away. We are based very centrally at Citibase, 1 St Colme Street, which is continuation of Queen Street at the Charlotte Square end.

New FLT guidance for diabetes

We have recently implemented new guidance for Fork Lift Truck Drivers in relation to Diabetes Management. This bring them into line with car drivers or Group 2 drivers if the risks are higher. If you have any queries regarding Fork Lift Truck assessments please direct them to in the first instance

New mobile health unit – January 2018

We are very excited to post our purchase of a vehicle to convert into our first mobile health unit. It will be ready in January for audiometry, spirometry and any other health surveillance around the country. It’s now been MOTed and is road ready, next stage will be wrapping in our OH3 colours. OHA Scottish borders
